Lazy Weekend

Lucky me I unexpectedly got a three day weekend when my office decided to close for MLK day, however I haven't really made the most of my time so far. Sad to say most of this morning has been sent on the couch watching "Moving Up" on TLC, and trying to get motivated to clean my apartment. But it is educational...I just saw someone make an "effect" on their floor by dropping fritos on cement. The oil smudged out then they vagued up the fritos with a shop-vac. Creative. Plus you can enjoy a snack while renovating your home.

Last night my boyfriend, K, and I went to one of my favorite chain restaurants. If you haven't been to one I highly recommend it. The Miso Seafood Salad is ah-maz-ing. I had been craving one for awhile and convinced K to go (he had the Sweet & Spicy Italian Sausage pizza.) We were going to go to a movie after but I wasn't dying to see anything that was showing so we came home and watched "Stepbrothers" on On Demand. Not Will Ferrell's finest performance but it had a few funny parts.

If I ever get my cleaning done we are going to go over to my parents house to watch football tonight. I am not a big sports fan so I won't be paying much attention but since they are the hometown team...Go Ravens!



(Plus if they go to the Super Bowl I am sure there will be a lot of sales and specials around here that even non-sports fans like myself can take advantage of.)
