Answers to your questions: Music Edition

Another weekend over too soon, I for one am so excited to have a 4 day work week this week! I spent Saturday cleaning my apartment and at the pool and Sunday my parents, K and I took the puppies down to Annapolis for the day to walk around and have lunch. Except for Hanna throwing up on me in the car on the way there (fortunately it didn't get on my clothes or my new purse) and Gryffin having some poo issues when we first got there, it was a lovely day. The puppies liked being able to walk around and sit with us outside at a restaurant and they got a lot of attention from random people.

And now the final question I was asked...from Jey Rey: What's your favorite music? Best concert you've been to?

This is a sort of hard question because I really don't have a favorite type of music. I love music but only listen to it in the car, when I am at home I usually put on the TV. I have an ipod but I never listen to it and I think it might be broken now.

In the car I usually just listen to the radio, I like a good mix of pop stuff as well as 80s and 90s music for just day to day driving. On longer trips I usually listen to CDs of musicals...I love musicals!

As far as concerts go I haven't been to that many because I would rather probably go see a play or musical instead. The concerts I have been too are totally random and I usually went because someone got me a ticket...for example...Britney Spears (Baby One More Time tour), Brandi (The Boy is Mine), The Killers, Keene, Dirks Bentley etc...I would love to see Jimmy Buffet or Billy Joel but other then that, not too much interest in concerts.

Wow I am rambling...ok to wrap up...I like pretty much any type of music and I know a ton of songs (I actually took voice for 10 years) but I don't really go to concerts or download songs or really listen to music outside of my car! Hope that answers the question! if anyone ever has a question for me leave a comment or email me (curiosity.cee@gmail.com)!

P.S. Has this ever happened to anyone/do you know how to fix it: on my work computer I can't comment on blogs that have the comments set up to show right under the post (not the pop up kind) I type it in and type the verification word and everything seems fine then the comment doesn't post and it says "done" on the bottom of the browser window. It has only been doing this the past week or so...ideas on how to fix?

I Wish I Could Go Back to College

Has anyone seen the musical "Avenue Q"? If you haven't I highly recommend it, it is seriously one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I love it so much I actually saw it twice, once on Broadway and once in D.C. (the National tour.) Anyway, I bring this up because there is one song in the show that totally sums up how I feel right now (see below.)

My girlfriends and I went back to our college for the weekend because the the last group of girls who we were close with in our sorority are graduating this semester. We had a great time but being there is bittersweet. I miss the laid back, lack of responsibilities, and getting to be with my friends all the time but I do not miss the DRAMA that comes with going to a small school. There is also no way I could stay up and party that much anymore!

This was probably the last time we will go back to visit and actually know people in school there that we can hang out with/stay with... and that makes me feel old. As if the inability to stay up didn't already make me feel old.

I had such a positive college experience; I loved my school, my sorority, made amazing friends and met K, but I was ready to move on after 4 years. And somethings about being a "grown up" are great (even if I complain.)

It's fun to look back and think about those days...and I so love that there is a song that describes my thoughts so perfectly.

UPDATED: Just a warning...there is some naughty language in the song so be careful playing it!
