Carbs, Glorious Carbs

The past few weeks I have not been as good with eating low carb; I haven't been losing any weight but then again I haven't been gaining either. After I get back from the beach I plan on getting back on the wagon. That being said...I may have gained weight after my dinner last night.

One of my favorite things in Baltimore is Restaurant Week and K and I try to pick a new place to try every time it rolls around. Last night we asked my parents to come with us to Saute since they had never experienced the joy of Restaurant Week.

How it works is you pay $30.09 (and at Saute for $45 you got wine pairings with each course which we totally did) and then get an appetizer, dinner and desert.

Personally, I think my choices were the best...I had these amazing mussels with fries for the appetizer. Don't know if the fries were needed but they were delicious. Then spicy sausage pasta, and finally chocolate covered strawberries. Yum. I haven't eaten pasta in forever and it was soooo good, but I don't typically eat fries, pasta and bread (they had excellent olive bread) all in one meal!

Most cities seem to have Restaurant Weeks so if you haven't already...check it out!

I LOVE Restaurant Week! Dallas' starts next week. The bf and I are trying to decide which one to go to for my bday, which is also next week! :)

Yum!! I'm from the Baltimore area too and am considering moving back. Saute will be on my list to try out! Have you hit up the Lebanese Taverna? I die for it.

I need to figure out if Houston has a Restaurant Week...when we were in Boston last year we took total advantage of it!
