Ok, not trying to be a Scrooge here but it is hard to be in the Christmas spirit with a horrible cold that kept me up all night. And on top of the lack of sleep the cold meds I took this morning have made me feel like the living dead. And not the hot Cullen variety either.
At least I will have plenty of time to sleep tomorrow when I am snowed in. Yes, we are expected to get 20 INCHES of snow tonight through tomorrow. And when Maryland gets that much snow life pretty much stops. As a state we are not prepared and people fly into a severe panic.
If I was going to be snowed in during the month of February I really wouldn't care...but I have Christmas shopping to do and this is going to force me to do it after work next week. Scary thought. It's supposed to be a "White Christmas" on Christmas...not a "White Before Christmas" for a reason. And that reason is that snow hinders shopping.
Anyways, sorry to whine. Bah Humbug.

Poor thing! I hope you feel better and get that shopping done next week! I hate being sick and I hate being trapped at the house but maybe you can catch up on Christmas crap tv and drink a lot of eggnog? Feel better!
Omg totally!!! I just got sick yesterday out of the blue & I'm in lower New York state so we are going to be getting that snow too. Great timing huh? It's okay to whine. Your not the only one. Feel better.
i'm in texas and i just saw that you guys would be getting a shit ton of snow on the news. katie couric said it, so it must be true.

Sorry you're not feeling well! I've got a cold too, and I'm supposed to go on a mini vacay tomorrow. I've gotta take a gigantic pack of kleenex on the plane! Enjoy the snow, I'd like to see some sometime soon.
I'm sorry your not feeling well. I can't sleep here either. We however don't have the snow problem. It's about 88 degrees out in miami!
WOW! 20 inches? That's insane! We freak here in SA if things even ice over a little. lol.. Good luck with shopping though and be safe out there!
