Have you noticed my presence in the blog world during the day lately? Not that I expected you to...but the reason is the whole no going on the internet at work thing...seems to have fizzled. Thank God. I don't know how I got through the past few months without the use of my beloved internet between the hours of 8:30-5:30.
Since I did a survey last Thursday I thought I would do one this week too and stole this cute one from In Love With a Farm Boy. I think it's appropriate to look back and see how I have changed now since my birthday is 2 weeks (mark your calenders!)

****10 YEARS AGO (1999)****
1. How old were you? 13...almost 14.
2. Who were you dating? I did have a "boyfriend" named Steve who wrote notes to be in school...but we only talked face to face like 3 times...not sure if that counts.
4. Where did you live? Maryland, we were in the process of moving into my parent's current house.
5. Where did you hang out? the dance studio, I was there 7 days a week normally.
6. Did you wear contacts and/or glasses? contacts
7. How many piercings did you have? just my ears
8. What kind of car did you drive? I couldn't drive yet.
9. Had you been to a real party? You mean with drinking or something? No.
10. Had you had your heart broken? no
11. Were you Single/Taken/Married/Divorced? single
12. Any Kids? no...that would be scary.
**** 5 years ago (2004)
1. How old were you? 18...almost 19
2. Who were you dating? I broke up with my HS boyfriend in the beginning of that year and had a few "love interests" that Spring in college, but nothing serious.
3. Where did you work? I was a nanny for a CRAZY family that summer
4. Where did you live? Pennsylvania(during the school year) and Maryland (in the summer)
5. Where did you hang out? sorority house, dorm rooms, and while at home, my parent's house.
6. Had your heart broken? I thought I had.
7. Were you Single/Taken/Married/Divorced? single
8.What kind of car did you drive? while at home I drove "Old Gold" a 1990 Volvo station wagon...didn't have a car at school
***Today (2009)****
1. Age? 23...almost 24.
2. Where do you work? financial company (nice description, huh?)
3. Where do you live? Maryland
4.Where do you hang out? at home for the most part...I am a loser.

9.What kind of car do you drive? Red Volkswagen Jetta

Ha, I used to have an Oldsmobile station wagon! Those were the days...sort of. It's crazy to think how different things are now than even just 5 years ago.

This was cool and I'm so glad you can blog now during the day. I actually DID notice that because my reader doesn't normally fill up during the day! :) I may just steal this one from you!
I think I would lose my mind if the internet was banned at work! It's fun to think back to how things have changed over the years...my life now is so different than it was 5 years ago, and COMPLETELY different than it was 10 years ago.
This really is a fun survey! Don't feel like a loser, I hang out at home more than anyone else I know. I kinda like it here though, hopefully the new apartment will be as comfy cozy as this one. :) Happy almost b-day
