Welcome to New Jersey

You may recall that after the premier of Real Housewives of NY I blogged about my first impressions of the season. Naturally I decided to do the same thing for New Jersey, which is even more exciting since it is totally new. Let me say this...I am stoked for this show. These ladies seem out of control! And thus far there seems to be a theme about trying to be your daughter's best friend instead of a parent, which is always intriguing.

Dina...While her decorating taste is questionable and I am not sure why her daughter was drinking from a goblet, she is gorgeous and I think she will be a good source of drama.

Caroline...I kind of think it would be cool to work at the Brownstone so maybe they could adopt me or something? And I like her relationship with Dina, and her sons seem funny so far but I think she will end up being annoying.

Teresa...first of all, does anyone else think that her hairline is very weird? I am very worried about her hair merging with her eyebrows, that would be scary...like reverse evolution. And speaking of evolution, or lack there of, Joe kind of looks like the juicy and delicious missing link. Oh great now I will have to go into the witness protection program...please don’t hurt me Joe! Furthermore, nothing says mafia like having over 12ok in cash on you in a store. I love a crazy stage mom so that element should be interesting too.

Jacqueline...is probably my favorite so far, she seems very real and caring, she even was really sweet to that creature, Danielle. I thought it was cute that her and Teresa went to spy on the blind date.

Danielle...ok she looks like something from Tales from the Crypt. She brings up a lot of questions....who has been engaged 20 times? Who sends naked pictures to someone she just met on the Internet? Who talks about phone sex on national TV? Over share. "Guccimodel" is probably a 12 year old boy or a 85 year old man. Now based on my recent post I am not knocking online dating in any way, but I don't really think what she was doing was "dating." I find her to be very sketchy.

So those are my thoughts so far...what did you all think about it?

Tonight is a pretty packed TV night so I will have to watch the rest of NY reunion...aka cat fight...tomorrow. After I get my puppy of course, how appropriate for that to be her first TV show to watch with me. Can't wait to show you all pictures!
